I have always enjoyed working with my hands and though I do receive compliments from friends and relatives on my handiwork, I never got around to making a business out of it until I met Fennie.
Fennie thought me that there is value in the time I spent designing and creating my craft. She makes me think of my efforts in exact numbers with the $ sign before it. She stopped me many times from dismantling my work because I was simply not satisfied with the results. As it turn out, these were the products that were sold.
I tend to want to perfect my skills first before I start on anything and in the end I did not get around to doing some of the stuff I have always thought of doing. Once I have made a commitment to teach, things just fall into place.
If you intend to teach a craft, your passion for it makes better wall paper in your classroom than any certificates that you are waiting to acquire before you can start a class.
So, if you are finding it difficult to learn from someone beneath you, maybe, reaching that roadblock again will show you the way.

Are you looking for Fennie?
Fennie would like to sell her work so that she can create new designs. If you are interested to know how she prized her creations, you can write to her at the following email address:
fennie@mail2world.com
Did you asked why I am giving my business away? Though I may be Fennie's teacher, nothing we both created, even when we are using the same techniques, are ever the same. If someone does not like my handwork, it does not mean that they will not like my student's work either. Our work can only become better with practice and the right inspiration.
As a teacher to Fennie I live by this motto:
"My success hinges on your success".
I wish you all the best, Fennie.

Any more inspirations for Fennie?
Where do I get my inspirations? I seek them in nature. Here are some designs that I hope will inspire Fennie to do more.
I am inspired by the colours of sunset and
colours of the sea.
My work are sometimes in full bloom
or like the colours of the flowers in my garden.
All things that swirl intrigues me. The tide has beaconed.

Fennie created her own set
In "Wirework Links and Beads" lessons, Fennie learned to create this "Indian Princess" design
She studied how I have created similar designs using beads and crystals...
...and decided to design her own.
Aren't you impressed?
